Data Protection
The operator of this website takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. I treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the legal data protection regulations and this privacy policy.
When you use this website, various personal data is collected. Personal data refers to information that can be used to personally identify you. This privacy policy explains which data I collect and how I use it. It also explains how and for what purpose this occurs. Please note that data transmission over the internet (e.g., communication via email) may have security vulnerabilities. A complete protection of data from third-party access is not possible.
Notice on the Responsible Party
The Responsible Party for Data Processing on this Website is:
Rev. John Lee Hooker Jr.
Adolph-Kolping-Ring 21
49661 Cloppenburg
Phone: +49 (0)170 4798124
Email: johnleehooker00soul@gmail.com
The responsible party is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g., names, email addresses, etc.).
Storage Duration
Unless a more specific storage period is stated within this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with me until the purpose for data processing no longer applies. If you request deletion or withdraw your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless I have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g., tax or commercial law retention periods). In such cases, the data will be deleted once these reasons no longer apply.
General Information on the Legal Basis for Data Processing on this Website
If you have given your consent to data processing, I process your personal data based on Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR or Art. 9 (2) lit. a GDPR if special categories of data according to Art. 9 (1) GDPR are processed. In the case of explicit consent for the transfer of personal data to third countries, processing is additionally based on Art. 49 (1) lit. a GDPR. If you have consented to the storage of cookies or access to information on your device (e.g., via device fingerprinting), data processing is also based on § 25 (1) TTDSG. Your consent can be revoked at any time.
If your data is necessary for contract fulfillment or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, I process your data based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR. Furthermore, I process your data if required to fulfill a legal obligation in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. c GDPR. Data processing may also take place based on my legitimate interest according to Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The specific legal bases applicable in each individual case are detailed in the following sections of this privacy policy.
Notice on Data Transfer to the USA and Other Third Countries
I use tools from companies based in the USA or other countries that do not provide the same level of data protection as the EU. If these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to and processed in these third countries.
I would like to point out that these countries may not guarantee an EU-equivalent level of data protection. For example, U.S. companies are obligated to hand over personal data to security authorities without allowing you, as the data subject, any legal recourse. It is therefore possible that U.S. government agencies (e.g., intelligence services) may process, analyze, and permanently store your data on U.S. servers for surveillance purposes. I have no control over these processing activities.
Revocation of Your Consent to Data Processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent. You can revoke any consent you have already given at any time. The legality of the data processing carried out before the revocation remains unaffected by the withdrawal.
Right to lodge a Complaint with the Competent Supervisory Authority
In the event of data protection violations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The relevant authority in data protection matters is the State Data Protection Officer of the federal state in which my company is based. A list of data protection officers and their contact details can be found at the following link:
https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Service/Anschriften/anschriften_table.html.
Right to Data Portability
You have the right to receive data that I process automatically based on your consent or for the fulfillment of a contract in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of your data to another responsible party, this will only be carried out if technically feasible.
Access, Correction, and Deletion
Within the scope of applicable legal regulations, you have the right to:
- Receive free information about your stored personal data, its origin, recipients, and the purpose of processing.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data, provided no legal obligations require its retention.
For these requests or any other questions regarding personal data, feel free to contact me anytime.
Right to Restriction of Processing
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact me at any time for this. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:
- If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by me, I usually need time to verify this. During the verification period, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
- If the processing of your personal data was or is unlawful, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
- If I no longer need your personal data but you need it for the exercise, defense, or assertion of legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.
- If you have filed an objection under Article 21(1) GDPR, a balance must be struck between your and my interests. As long as it is not yet clear which interests outweigh, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, these data may – apart from their storage – only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a member state.
SSL or TLS Encryption
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to me as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser’s address bar changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock symbol in your browser’s address bar.
When SSL or TLS encryption is enabled, the data you transmit to me cannot be read by third parties.
Objection to Advertising Emails
The use of contact details published as part of the legal imprint requirement to send unsolicited advertising and informational materials is hereby rejected. The operator of the website expressly reserves the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam emails.
4. Data Collection on this Website
Cookies
My website uses so-called “cookies.” Cookies are small data packets and do not harm your device. They are either temporarily stored for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (persistent cookies) on your device. Session cookies are automatically deleted after your visit ends. Persistent cookies remain on your device until you delete them yourself or they are automatically deleted by your web browser.
Cookies can come from me (first-party cookies) or from third-party companies (so-called third-party cookies). Third-party cookies allow the integration of certain third-party services within websites (e.g., cookies for payment processing services).
Cookies have various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary, as certain website features would not function without them (e.g., shopping cart functionality or video display). Other cookies can be used for analyzing user behavior or for advertising purposes.
Cookies that are necessary for the electronic communication process, for providing certain functions you request (e.g., for the shopping cart function), or for optimizing the website (e.g., cookies for measuring website traffic) are stored based on Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f DSGVO, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing necessary cookies to provide services in a technically error-free and optimized manner. If consent has been requested for storing cookies and comparable recognition technologies, processing will only take place based on this consent (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter a DSGVO and § 25, paragraph 1 TTDSG); consent can be revoked at any time.
You can configure your browser to be informed about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only on a case-by-case basis, exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Deactivating cookies may limit the functionality of this website.
You can find which cookies and services are used on this website in this privacy policy.
Server Log Files
The provider of the website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits to me automatically. These include:
- Browser type and version
- Used operating system
- Referrer URL
- Hostname of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
These data are not merged with other data sources. The collection of this data is based on Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in ensuring the technical error-free display and optimization of the website—therefore, server log files must be collected.
Contact Form
If you send me inquiries via the contact form, the information you provide in the inquiry form, including your contact details, will be stored by me in order to process the request and for any follow-up questions. I will not share this data without your consent.
The processing of this data is based on Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b DSGVO, if your inquiry is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on my legitimate interest in effectively handling the inquiries directed to me (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f DSGVO) or on your consent (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter a DSGVO) if requested; consent can be revoked at any time.
The data you enter in the contact form will remain with me until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer exists (e.g., after processing your request). Mandatory legal provisions—especially retention periods—remain unaffected.
Inquiry via Email or Phone
If you contact me via email or phone, your inquiry, including any personal data derived from it (e.g., name, address, email address, inquiry), will be stored and processed by me for the purpose of handling your request.
The data you send to me via contact inquiries will remain with me until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer exists (e.g., after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions—especially legal retention periods—remain unaffected.
